How do i restore favorites folder in internet explorer. I have not lost the folder. It will not import.?

I have the favorites folder in my "Documents" but it will not import to IE8. I have tried all options I can find. It will import when I loaded Firefox but not IE.

In order to import your favorites you have to copy the "favorites folder" from "My Documents" to



C:\Documents and Settings\username



where username is your logon name or if its only you its "owner"
