how to download torrent?

i use internet using http proxy. my institute seems to blocking torrent downloads coz i can not download torrent. i tried bitlord, azureus and oppera 9. none of them are able to download torrent. is there any way i can download torrents? please help me.

I can't advise using any of the clients you listed simply because I've never used them, however nano torrent (http://www.utorrent.com/) is capable of downloading via a proxy.



After installation open the Preferences and look in Connection. In the centre of the window is proxy configuration, once you select the type (HTTP in your case) you can enter your username, password, proxy port etc

The latest version of OPERA has builtin torrent downloader or u can use BITORRENT. But remember most of the torrent files are illegal and can put u into piracy cases.

try to turn off firewall and download http://www.utorrent.com he is the best :)
