Well if you've just downloaded the file.torrent item you're not quite there. You need a program like Bittorrent which opens those .torrent files and downloads the actual item you searched for. Basically it connects peer 2 peer with other users who have that same file and divides those files into segments. One segment of the file may be downloaded from one peer while another part of the file may be downloaded from someone else.

Download a Torrent client like in the link and then open the .torrent files you downloaded from the websites you searched.

You have to have a bit torrent client like mutorrent or just regular bit torrent. Once you have that installed just click the "open" option when you download the .torrent file. The program will open up and start downloading your file.

You download a file with a .torrent extension. Then you need a program to actually download the files contained in the .torrent file.

uTorrent is a very popular one that I would recommend.

Install the program and use it to download the file. Viola!

There is help on the site as well.

Good luck!

You have to have a program installed. I recommend "Bitcomet" www.bitcomet.com.

Once you download a torrent file, open it with the program.

You all just don't know what these 2 programs are doing to your systems, they are junk and useless, that is unless you like the thought of repairing your whole system. I have seen alot of systems crash and burn from these torrents. Just stick with limewire. Stay away from bearshare though.
