Internet Explorer 7 gives me "Internet Explorer cannot display the page" error regardless of the page I go to. Sadly there is AOL on this machine and its browser is working and I can connect to anyplace fom there.

I can download updates and such from various programs (ad-aware, spybot, etc...) and can ping www address from a command prompt so I know connectivity is not an issue.

I have reset Internet Explorers settings, reinstalled IE as well as SP 2 for XP.

Please help.

Download and install Mozilla Firefox. It's far better than IE and completely free.

It could be a temporary glitch, try again later to see if it resolved it's problem. The other two answers are very good...try Mozilla/Firefox.........but it sounds to me that your savvy about computers already,so I would give it some time.
