Pop up pages driving me insane! Help?

Question

I have firefox. I removed IE and I set firefox as default and even blocked IE with firewall! But for some reason, I keep getting pop ups. there pages, though. they pop up on the bottom in a IE page, and as a firefox tab. how do I get rid of it? please and thanks.

pop up blocker etc



if you have loaded yahoo tool bar

if not load it

http://www.yahoo.com

choose my yahoo

go to the t section

choose tool bar

download it

then if you dont see pop up blocker

right click on grey area at top of screen

in different places

you can choose what you want up there

if you see another pop up blocker

disable

yahoo pop up blocker is all you need



if you have tool bar

no problem

beside pop up blocker

you will see an arrow

click on it

choose allow pop ups for that site

go and scan your computer using a good Antivirus

like eset's NOD32 completely

(sure its a program sitting in memory and opening u pop-ups)



and inside firefox use Adblock plus extension

inside IE use google or yahoo! toolbar

in forefox go to tools > options > content > and click block pop ups
