I have Windows XP and my problem is that when I open my browser from the desktop, the window doesn't open all the way. I have to click on the button in the top right hand of my screen to enlarge the browser window to the full view. Does anyone know what I need to do so when I click on Internet Explorer to open my browser, the window will open fully? Thanks.

Dennis, sometimes I have the same problem. It's a circus process. Pop IE open and maximize and immediately x out. If that doesn't work out try exiting through File>Exit while the window is maximized. Really just need to figure it out yourself.

Open a browser, click on the full screen square top-right, and then hold down the shift key while you click the X icon to close the browser.

The next time the browser will open with the settings it was at when you exited.

it's easy enough to fix just move the mouse cursor to the bottom right hand corner of the browser window it should then change to a double ended arrow then press and hold the left mouse button you should now be able to drag the window out to full size

open your browser and maximize it dont do any thing else after maximizing it close it

it will save the setting now it will open in maximize always

note: if you shutdown your computer improperly the saved setting will be removed (you have to do it again)

well there has been a report that no one should use ie anymore it has a security hole allowing hackers to steal your online game passwords and steal your data, i recommend not to use it anymore cuz that could be a problem already begiining so try to download firefox or chrome and etc.

P.S.no version of ie is safe
