Ok so i installed vshare plug-in in my Firefox. And now when i type a keyword in the address bar it searches for results at " vshare,toolbarhome.com" instead of either going directly to the web page or displaying results at Google.com. Ive uninstalled vshare and verified the toolbar is not installed. ive searched the options in Firefox but cant figure it out. thanks in advance!

Check your domain name servers. VShare might well have replaced one or both with its own. Domain Name Servers (DNS) translate URLs into IP addresses, which are what the Internet (as versus the Web) works off.

Your domain name servers are usually in either the Internet Protocol properties for your Internet connection or in your router. I expect you'll find that vshare URL or its IP address in one of them.

Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) should have given you two of its own DNS addresses.

Good luck.

On firefox you can go up top left side click on view <> toolbars <> select the toolbars you want. Actually I really don't understand what you're talking about.

right click where you see file, edit, view... and you'll see a menu. see if navigation toolbar is checked. if not, check it.
