Unable to connect to the internet?

Hey, I'm trying to fix a computer that has a weird issue. I can't connect to the internet using Internet Explorer, Firefox nor Chrome. I was however able to connect to the internet using the Tor Browser; but none of the other programs that use the internet are working. Any ideas of what might be causing this and how to fix it?

have you tried right clicking the wifi symbol at the bottom right of your screen on the toolbar and clicking 'troubleshoot problems'?
