lately every time i try to go on internet explorer it says:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

For offline users

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.

WHAT DO I DO TO GET IT BACK WORKING????????

Are you sure you have internet? Make sure that first.

Do you have that error on all the websites you try to visit?

Do you have other browsers like Mozilla? Try using those and see if you can connect to websites.

Check your proxy and firewall setting if you have any.

If no Internet application like IE, Outlook Express or other browsers are working,

it may be due to corrupted Winsock registry entries.

First find out if you can connect to the Internet. Just trying to use a web browser is not the best test.

Try pinging a site by both IP and Name

If pinging by IP works, then you have a connection to the Internet and the Winsock registry entries are probably ok.

If pinging by IP works but by Name doesn't, then likely you have DNS problem.

If you can't ping by either one, then you may have corrupted Winsock registry entires.

The basic steps are to:

1. Delete the corrupted Winsock registry entries

2. Import clean ones

3. Reboot the computer

For All Operating Systems - Remove the old registry entries - Download Registry Entry from this link.

http://www.onecomputerguy.com/ie_tips.htm

(Find this section -Can't Connect to Internet With Internet Explorer);

After importing the appropriate registry key, reboot the computer

Internet Explorer 7 - can't display webpage.

Hope, it'll help.

How earlier did you acquire Explorer 7? in case you downloaded it whilst it first got here out, there would have been some bugs in it that have been mounted because then. you will desire to attempt deleting Explorer 7 (it incredibly is going to revert to Explorer 6) and take a verify out downloading it back. although, till you have issues getting access to particular websites with Firefox, i'd in basic terms use that. Firefox is a plenty extra suitable application than Explorer 7. Ya hear that bill Gates? a plenty extra suitable application!

yes this is the page displayed when Internet explorer can't display a page.

Now if you make sure you have an Internet connection running.

if can't display any page your connection has a problem.

If you can't display a single page, soothing is wrong with that page.

Also try Mozila Firefox
