www.download.com is a huge collection of softwares, musics, videos, and utilities. It is not easy to decide what to download from there just off the hand.



So I only goto that site when I have a specific need.

I agree - usually you only go there when "pointed" there by other software sites. I got Thunderbird (email) and Firefox (browser) by Mozilla from there - very good programs.

I'm pretty sure AVG (virus protection) by Grisoft also points you to downloads.com.
