You probably logged on as another user and didn't clean all the history data, you can do this manually by going to c:\document and settings\"user name"\, delete all stuff under cookies and Local settings, I am using IE7.0, and it's a simple click.

When you start typing and the autocomplete droplist shows up, use the down arrow key to highlight the entry and then hit the delete key. The entry will be permanently deleted from your autocomplete history.

there is a bug in ie6 that prevents the history being cleared in some cases. I would upgrade to IE7 asap as it is more secure anyway and you can delete the history.

ie6 is bad, ie7 is better (Firefox is ok but don't believe the hype. It crashes, it's got bugs too and is not as widely used.....when/if it is then it will probably be a hackers favourite)

I suggest getting Firefox and never using IE again.
