I have just bought a domain from godaddy. I am wanting to now where the best place to host my domain would be. Here is what i want though.

I want no file size limitations or extension limits and wouldn't mind unlimited bandwidth
I found "freehostingcloud" but they say that everything is unlimited and so far havn't had a problem uploading a few test files, but i am afraid i will have a lot of download usage and they frown on people using it as a filehosting thing....

so any good ideas for hosting my site with no slapping on the wrists for using the hosting to store at least 100GB and a lot of download usage

You won't find any web hosting which will offer that much storage and bandwidth cheaply. Even those that have unlimited everything will just close your account if you try to use too much.

The best option for this kind of website is to get any hosting for the basic website and just use Amazon S3 service for files. That way you can really use as much storage and bandwidth as you're willing to pay for.

Amazon S3 price of storage is about:

$0.140 per GB (so it's $14 for 100GB of storage)

or Reduced Redundancy Storage

$0.093 per GB (so it's $9.3 for 100GB of storage)

Price of bandwidth:

$0.120 per GB

I'd highly recommend host gator Just check it out. We've been using them for years and they are the absolutely greatest. Use the coupon code cleverpricing to get started. Their customer service is 24/7 and they know it all. Trust me you'll love it.

You'll not find any unlimited hosting for free. Just host your domain with a hosting and start a site.
