What exactly does RSS Feed mean? I see them on blogs and even in this Yahoo!

RSS (most commonly expanded as Really Simple Syndication) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video—in a standardized format.



Whenever you subscribe to RSS feeds you will get all the updates notified to your mail. It helps you to keep updated about blogs,etc without daily visiting all those webpages you are interested in.

Google Chrome will not support RSS feed by its default, it will need a plug-in to do its job (soz, i dono which one).

Any body can know that you have a new content on your blog . They can share your RSS in facebook , or read your content in their mobile . And remember that RSS feeds products autmaticaly after you publish a new content . ;-)
