Go to the Yahoo Groups website... Sign-in to your account... Click the "Edit Membership" link. Then feel free to set it whatever way you would like it... Or you may log-in to your Yahoo Mail account > Go to "Options" then My block addresses and type in the e-mail address...

U can unsubscribe from the group in which u have become a member by sending a mail to group_name-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

If u want to continue to be a member but if u don't want to receive mails, goto www.groups.yahoo.com/group/group_name and then select Edit membership.

There u will have four options:

Message Delivery

Individual emails - Receive individual messages.

Daily digest - Receive a daily compilation of many emails in one message.

Special notices - Receive only important email notices from the group moderator.

No email - I'll read messages on the web site.

Select the appropriate one which suits ur interest.

Then click save changes. U can also click Leave group for completely unsubscribing from the group.

You dont have to block adress for that. You can do that by logging in group and editing your personal preferences, choose option that lets you sign out of email notification, and you wont recieve emails from yahoo group any more

Note:When yahoo groups came out,you needed to wait like half of month to stop receiving emails after you left group or signed out,but i think they fixed that, anyways, its just a little time to wait if you dont find other solution

Otherwise i hope this help you...all you need is to read ur Y! group profile and see what u have to do,its in english

Go to the yahoo group web site and either choose to not be a member of that group anymore which would prevent emails coming to you or choose to not receive individual emails and choose to just be able to visit the group site to check the posts at your leisure. Hope this helps.

Open the message and report it as spam. On header of your mailbox you will see the spam button.
