cannot import favorites from ie to firefox.?

Question

I used the procedure to export favorites from ie to bookmarks in firefox. Message says export worked but nothing transferred.

I used this procedure as instructed from firefox and message stated that favorites were transferred to Firefox. The bookmarks now contained a file "From Internet Explorer" However, the file was empty. Any suggestions on another procedure? Thanks Polok

To import your favorites and folders from IE to Firefox do here: Open the Firefox click Bookmarks and then click set up Bookmarks. Then click the Import and Backup and then from recognised menu decide on Import HTML. Then decide on Microsoft internet Explorer and click next. that's all all your favorites of IE has been imported and available to apply in Firefox.
