Been using firefox browser for ages with no problem, until that is I installed new version. Now can't get anything except unable to connect to server which ever site it says:

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server or these warnings
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Done all the usual stuff like clear cache files etc and IE7 works ok, can't understand why. Even tried uninstalling new version to re install old version but still installs new version again.

Any suggestions greatfully received!

Perhaps your Firefox is attempting to use a proxy in 2.0.0.13

If there even is a 2.0.0.13

I'm using Firefox 3 beta 4.

It working beautifully. Here's a link if you can't figure your problem out. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Well

You can download the latest version of Mozilla Firefox from here http://bit.ly/1p6kfe1

Mozilla Firefox is one of the world's most popular web browsers and, to me, it's the best.

I hope it helps

firefox 2.0.0.13 works fine I'm using it now, but what you will find is it may be blocked by your firewall you may have to go in the the firewall settings and tell it to let firefox through.

what's happening is your firewall will see it as a new program trying to access the net and it may have blocked it silently

It was caused by my Norton Firewall.

Even the messages you get were the same.To fix it i turned on firewall learning and reinstalled fire fox,Which i great
