Is there a way that I can change from echeck to instant payment on something that I already confirmed payment for (from ebay)? I would like to get my item as soon as possible, and I didn't know about echeck because I haven't used paypal in a while. Am I stuck with echeck since I already confirmed the payment, or can I still change it?

You are pretty much stuck letting it process as an eCheck.

In the future IF your PayPal account is backed up by a CC or checking account

and you have you any balance in your PayPal account (even $0.01) and you

choose "instant payment" it will go through that way and "instant transfer" the

balance of the transaction ammount...

This is a handy thing to know...

And explains why you should always keep SOME small balance in your PayPal account

A new debit card takes a couple of days to register If you already had one registered it may be you was issued with a new card recently and the expire date changed. eCheque takes a week to clear. tell the seller you have payment issues and do they mind waiting.

The usual reason for an echeque being issued is because your card is out of date, so get the seller to refund the echeque- update and repay, this will be instant
