Can someone help me figure out why & how Internet Explorer keeps popping up w/ the message, 'internet explorer has encountered a problem/error & needs to close-sorry'

Well, that's pretty unspecific. It might've gotten a virus, you might have Windows Vista (buggy), or it might be because you have the WORST INTERNET BROWSER EVER.



Firefox or Google Chrome almost never crashes.



They're faster, customizable, user-friendly, and help you download better.



Anything by Windows is usually shoddily made, and very buggy.



STOP SUPPORTING MICROSOFT!!! Yay!

reset all of your settings and see if that helps, if not, run a virus scan or use another browser such as firefox or opera.
