Question:
Why can't I connect to Sportsbook.com Poker software?

I cannot connect to sportsbook.com's seperate poker software. It worked fine Sunday but for the past two days I have gotten the following message:
A problem was encountered trying to connect to our servers. Please check your internet connect and try again. Error: HttpSendRequest failed (12029) (EWeb)

I have a cable modem and I'm on the internet so I know that's not the problem. I have reinstalled the software at least a dozen times, and I have done a system restore to a point before I ever even played on that site.

Please help I have a lot of money in an account on that site that I want to bet.

Sometimes software like online poker games and sytems need to have a certain type of software already downloaded befor you can play the poker game or download the poker game. You might see if the poker software you want needs something like a flash player or media player.

You should try to turn off your firewall first. Maybe that'll help. You should also try to change your IP-adress because maybe it is on a shared blacklist or someone else in your appartment uses it. You can change your IP using a VPN-connection or a proxy-server (google it up).
