I keep getting error messages telling me there's a problem with IE9 and I keep having to restart it. Videos are choppy too. Is there an upgrade and if so, how do I do it? Thanks!

Yes. You can upgrade by using a different browser. Pretty much any other browser.

MSIE is NOT a standards compliant browser, and it is bloated with "features" that most websites do not even use. These slow down your browsing and open you up to common malware exploits. Every time they release a new version, MS fanboys say "oh it's all better now!" but it never is.

Just stop using that POS.

Until Microsoft releases a new version of IE you can't upgrade it. Download Firefox, better, secure, costumizable, tons of addons. And it's less buggy than IE. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/

No, Firefox is horrible. Instead, try Google Chrome:

maybe uninstall it, reboot, reinstall

should be in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Window Components, unclick IE, after it uninstalls then reboot and go back and click it again. Then maybe do Windows/office updates.
