I've tried Yahoo! and Gmail, but I receive so much spam mail from both and I'm sick of it. What's the best e-mail server that actually filters spam mail from getting in?

By too much gets in, do you mean into your inbox, or into your junk box? The junkbox is there for just that, and i doubt many email things exist that will block an email completely - because thats not a smart thing to do.

You should use any of them (never used my yahoo account so can't say for sure), and use an email application like outlook or thunderbird or something that has advanced filtering options.

I use outlook 2012(13?) which is fine, but not free of course. Thunderbird is always a good option.

I still use my hotmail account for most things. Annoyingly the email account i use for serious things gets much more junk than my actual junk email.

I have a GMail account, and let me tell you: I absolutely love it! I have lots of free space, not too much spam and it's user-friendly.
