internet explorer wont work, says http https and ftp ports are blocked from fire wall?

when i open firefox it says page cannot be displayed so i diagnosed the connection problem and it said that my http, https and fto ports are blocked probobly by a fire wall

well i cant figure out how to change blocked ports only the programs but i set my firewall on low and it still didnt work

normally i would just give up and use firefox but there are some sites that NEED iexplorer

does anyone please know what i should do?

Do not change the firewall settings to low. That is not the issue. You need to use advanced options of the FW. Ports are like access points, not like secutrity levels.

basically disable it. ideal click on your connection (the two small video exhibit instruments close on your clock) and choose "exchange living house windows Firewall settings" and turn it to off. That firewall does not even blocks all your open ports or conceal them the two. attempt a extra advantageous one like ZoneAlarm, there's a loose version additionally.

your fire wall setting is blocking your explorer you will have reset your firewall setting back to what they were before it happen you in the first place if it is not your firewall setting you been hit with something and need your wipe your computer clean and reinstall everything
