I personally don't like Vonage as they charge too much. I kicked out SBC over a year ago and am now using BroadVoice as my only phone! I pay $9.99 a month for Unlimited In-State calling. The rest of the US is something like 4 cents a minute. What I really got it for was for International. I call Japan for 3 cents a minute... Can't beat that. There is a onetime setup fee of $39.95.

The part that grabs my attention is the 800 number /IVR. I am having a little problem parsing 100 Ext. Mirrored X 4. Could you fill me in?

There are several PC based products for IVR. My favorite is asterisk. It is a full fledged PBX. You might find that an alecart solution is more cost effective for you. Maybe something along the lines of Voicepulse for dialtone and 800 number access and run the IVR for yourself. Typical VOIP all you can eat is $24. For 800 service you could look at junctionnetworks.com . Tie it all together with asterisk and an ATA (analog telephone adapter) or two and you are ready to go.

Let me know what the answer to my question is above and I will attempt to correct my answer to best suit your needs.

I've been on Vonage for over 18 months now. I pay less than $30 per month, including my international calls. I'm happy with VOIP. Not everyone has the same experience as I.

I would go with skype all the way. I have found them very reliable and have no problems with it whatsoever.

As for the Intercalls thing... check the links provided before you make a choice ;O)

(Did I mention voip buster and voip stunt are the same company as intercalls? Haris, do you work for these people or getting a backhand somewhere?)

I am so glad you asked this question. Thank God I am just in time to save you from extravagant purchases with Skype.

Yup, Skype is COSTLY! Go to www.internetcalls.com and download it. Check out the rates, you'll be amazed. Also, 45 destinations are absolutely free. I've been using it for quite sometime now and it's voice quality at times surpasses SKYPE. I am not going ballistic :-]

PS: You might otherwise also wanna check: www.voipbuster.com/

www.voipstunt.com/

But www.Internetcalls.com/ is the best! ROX!
