My son accesses a Yahoo email account, that I can't when using the password. I monitor his internet activity, but can't seem to access this email account. Is this possible with Yahoo email?

Well Dad or Mom (Please be open and perseptive)to this message.
This boils down to TRUST. It's good, that you are keeping watch on your son. But are you being a loving and caring Father/Mother or Hitler styled dictator hovering over every move he makes ?. Your son has some right to privacy. Let him have that measure. I mean it's OK to watch and make sure he does'nt visit porn sites or get plans to build bombs. give him some privacy and respect and you might be surprized at how well He'll handle things.

Your son has probably changed the password on his email account. You will need to know the correct password. This is the only way you will be able to access his mail account

I agree with pastor, let your son have some privacy! I mean there isn´t much he can do with his email account. If you push to hard he could end up doing things behind your back. Earn his trust and don´t abuse it as much as you wouldn´t want him to abuse yours.
I don´t know if opening emails without consent from the owner is a crime but I think it should be.

Thare is no way to access your sons account.
To access his account requires a secure and encrypted password that only your son knows.
EMAIL to me is like ordinary mail, it is private and no wone has the right to open that male unless i give that person in writing that permission.
To open male without that consent is a criminal offense.

Contact your provider and say that you have forgotten both the password and secret question, they should be able to help you with it, that is the only realistic option. Just try every option possible to what you may have used for the password, and in future try keep all your passwords similar, then you'll remember (:
