This error is generated in OST file when MS Exchange Server is attacked by virus and OST files become corrupted. Such Corrupted and Damaged parts of OST file can't be accessed which crops up the need to convert OST file to Outlook PST file. To tackle the corrupt parts in OST file use this OST recovery tool, which firmly recovers OST file to accessible format. But if it doesn’t help, try free demo of recovery toolbox for outlook. You can find it here. http://www.osttopst.recoverytoolbox.com/

This is not an issue with the Exchange server. Outlook.ost is the cached copy of your mailbox stored on your computer. To resolve this simply close outlook and rename outlook.ost to outlook.ost.old. You can find the outlook.ost (or whatever the ost file is named - it could be your-email-address.ost) in %localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook\The next time you open Outlook it will create a new OST and begin downloading your mailbox items again.

I think your OST file got corrupted due to any internal issue. Doesn't worry use a free utility scanost.exe provided by Microsoft along with MS office suite. It will fix all minor corruption issues and repair your OST file. Still you are unable to open OST file then use any paid tool for same task.

Try third party ost recovery software to recover your important data before lost.

But try free utility scanost.exe too!
