first i get this message in a pop up box...
['traceback(most recent call last);\n','file"c;\\pyagcore\\pyagcore/_init_.py",line3,in\n','import error; no module named shell\n']
then after i click ok on that i get this;
Runtime error!
program; c;\progranfiles\internetexplorer\iexplorer.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way
please contact this applications support team for more information.

it also does it for other windows programs,
the only way my internet would work was in "safe mode with networking"
now, it wont even start,
it says,
windows failed to start, a recent hardware or software change might be the cause.
then i can either select
"launch startup repair(recommended)
or
start windows normally;
neither work and it wont even reboot it cause windows wont start no matter what!!!
its a Dell Inspiron 1525, i just got it for xmas and it just started this about a week ago, i havent changed anything on it recently.
is there anyway to stop or fix this?
it wont start so dont tell me to go to anysites on it cause i cant!!!
is there any way i can just restore it to factory settings even tho it doesnt start????
please helpp!!!
thankyou!
i need to get my permit and i cant cause my computer wont work but its already all payed for!
thankss!

Your computer sounds like it is full of malware and the only way to fix it correctly is to completely re-install the operating system. Restart and at the black scree tap the F8 key -

You must press before the Windows logo appears on the screen. If you press after the Windows logo appears on the screen, the Advanced Boot Options menu will not appear on the screen. If you do not see the Advanced Boot Options menu, restart the computer, and then repeat this step until you see the menu on the screen. For detailed directions see this Dell page:

You are in trouble with malware because of Limewire - now please do not download again to your computer or you will be reposting with the same problem.

I believe your answer is so long, it , just get to the point, problem and need resolution...

What is your antivirus program and where do you go on the net??

Factory settings =

Get your factory restore disk. Reformat the computer (read carefully the restore disk instructions- most require you put the disk in before turning on the computer).

Reformatting is the easiest thing to do if you already have every thing backed up. (If it has been a long time since reformatting use the slow complete reformat.)

If you can get to system tools, restore, then pick a 'restore date to' at least 2 dates before the failure date (crash date).

Well I won't accuse you of looking at porn but the other answer has some good points. IE is very easy to hack and has many other flaws. I use Firefox and have few complaints.

you should have received a restore disk from dell when you bought the computer

start computer and press and hold F12 (this works for most computers) choose to boot from disk and then follow instructions

FYI: this WILL erase ALL data so if you NEED this data then email me for a way to retrieve the data (FYI: it will cost you for additional hardware needed)
