how can i check virus attack in my mail box. if i download the viruse file it's problem?

usually if you use a free mail account from major companis like hotmail (from microsoft) or yahoo mail they will automaticall scan the file for viruses and then delete it for you and YES THE VIRUS WILL BE A PROBLEM IF DOWNLOADED!!!
