On Mozilla Firefox, is it possible to automatically alphabetize all bookmarks?

Besides doing it manually?
I want to be able to add a bunch of bookmarks, and see them automatically alphabetized on the bookmarks list. Is this possible?

I'm not sure if it's possible directly, but you can alphabetize bookmarks you already have.
Go to Bookmarks > Organize bookmarks.
A 'Library' window will open that shows a tree with all your history, tags and bookmarks. Click to open all Bookmarks or the left, and then click Views > Sort. Here you can sort Name, Tags, Location and more. At the bottom of the list is A > Z Sort Order.
Good luck.

It is possible that your hard drive could be going bad or you have a bad Firefox installation. I found some instructions on recovering bookmarks as Firefox backs them up automatically. Hope your hard drive isn't corrupting...here are the instructions: If you don't see your bookmarks when you open Firefox or Mozilla Suite, the bookmarks file may have been damaged or the contents deleted. Firefox automatically makes a bookmark backup every day you use it (up to 5 backups total), with newer backups replacing the older copies. If you use the profile, you must act quickly, before they are all overwritten. However, there are other reasons why your bookmarks may be missing, so it is important that you follow all of these steps: 1. Firefox and Mozilla Suite store user data in a separate place for each user account on your computer. Make sure you are logged on to your computer with your usual logon name. 2. Mozilla browsers allow you to store different sets of bookmarks and other user data in separate profiles. You may have created a new profile in the past for troubleshooting or other reasons. Make sure you are using the correct profile (see Multiple profiles and profile in use, below). 3. If bookmarks appear in the Bookmarks Manager but not in the main menu, and they can't be edited, try the fix for a corrupt localstore.rdf file, given below. 4. If your problem is still not solved after doing the above, see Finding your bookmarks and Restoring bookmarks from backup (below). To identify the correct backup file, you can open and view bookmarks files with your browser. 5. Other methods of recovery The link is listed in my sources.

Click on "Bookmarks" at the top menu. Click on "Organize Bookmarks".. Then go to "Views" at the top and click on "Sort on that menu"...At the end of the Sort Menu, it should say A-Z sort or Z-A sort for alphabetization.

Or
On the Menu go to "Bookmarks" then "Organize Bookmarks" then right click the folder and "Sort by name"
