OK, well lets just say there is some search history on the computer that i dont want/need. and i have deleted the search history hundreds of times, but these few things keep showing in my history suggestions. just my luck, they wont erase no matter what. so...
what can i do to just get rid of it?
PLEASE DONT GIVE ME JUST ERASE HISTORY, I KNOW HOW TO DO IT. TRUST ME, IT DOESNT WORK.
I can:
1. reset all internet settings and just completely restart/refresh internet explorer.
2. get rid of the little search bar in the top right corner of internet explorer 8
3. get rid of past history that pops down when i search something in the search box.
4. just get rid of internet explorer completely.

If you know how to do any of these things, I could really use your help. THANKS!

If you want totally reset your IE, I would recommend deting it from add/remove programs in your control panel. Then you can install the latest version and that will have new things.

Alternatively you need to delete things that are in your autocomplete. Go to tools, options and clean cache, history and cookies. Should do the trick

first attempt connecting ethernet cable to the workstation and notice if that corrects the subject. then, attempt rebooting and press F8 to get to the boot menu. go with 'final time-commemorated stable configuration' and hit enter. if that doesnt paintings do a device fix to a pair of days in the past. if that doesnt paintings uninstall IE and reinstall it, reboot and do a disk defragment.
