How do you clear search history on fanfiction.net (or any website really?)?

I want to clear my search history on fanfiction.net but I don't know how to do it. I tried the website's help section and right-clicking on the search bar.

omg im on that site right now. you need to delete your cookies. go on tools-internet options- delete browsing history.

on your toolbar, there will either be an option called history or click on view, explorer bar, history. then, right click on what you want to delete and click on delete
