Ok, so last night I upgraded my Firefox to 3.5. But I think I messed something up, because I have the Mozilla Firefox icon on my Desktop, as well as the Internet explorer. But when I click on internet explorer, It's actually firefox. How do I get my IE back?? I have Windows XP if that helps.

First of all, Hi!

Go to Panel Control, Add Remove Program, look for "Set programs access and defaults", now clic on the custom arrow and on "Choose a default web browser" Select "Internet Explorer", Press OK button.

On Mozilla Firefox go to Tools, Options, Advances tab, General tab, and uncheck "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup".

I hope helped you.

Best wishes,

Carlos.

You need to make IE your Default browser again

> Click Start, All Programs, Default Programs, Set Default Programs

> Click on Internet Explorer from the list that is generated

> Select: Set this program as Default

You can also choose Mozilla Firefox from the list and limit its default applications if you want as well. But, it's not necessary if you change the default browser back to IE.

Right click the icon that opens the program. Select "properties". In the "target" and "start in" field, make sure the path to the program is the same path to your IE, and not Firefox. It should be something like:

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
