Not even the ESC key works. I have cleaned my laptop, it does work a bit faster. But after that I'm going to freeze.

More info would help.

What are those "three keys"? Ctrl, Alt & Delete?

How did you "cleaned" your laptop?

However if u mean your laptop is not going at a fast trot but freezing up, try following:

Check your registry for errors.

Defrag your HDD.

Trash temp files

Its all the trash u need to take out.

Use software like Tuneup Utilities 2006, System Mechanic or XP Repair to clean out Windows OS.

Speed up Windows with accelerating software like Windows System Optimizer.

Windows performance can also be tuned by changing the options in System_Advanced_Perfomance. Select Adjust for Best Perfomance.

Set your desktop to none and do away with all the fancy special effects. If you have tons of fonts installed deinstalled all except the ones required by Windows.

Any computer - desktop or laptop will gradually grind to a halt if not maintained in the ways described above for months on end.

In the worst case scenario - to get your laptop running like new simply reinstall Windows. Back up all your important Data to discs first, unless they reside in a separate partition of your HDD

If you mean that your computer is slowed to a crawl after startup. The only thing i can think of is if you have Norton Installed right click the icon in the system tray and disable auto protect. that is notorious for slowing down pc's. If this isn;t your problem than I hope you find your answer somewhere.
