Are you needing requirements to make internet calls (VOIP) or a full blown multi-user call center with call queues and automatic call distributing?



If you are looking for a call center I would suggest taking a look at Aspect.

Then you will need to get into CRM software to track and document calls, call forcasting, and staffing of the call center.

What I'm guessing is you want to start a call center that uses the Internet as phone service........like what cable companies are using.....Well, if I'm right you should first contact different companies that offer Internet calling and get different rates for the amount of calls. I would have a server or a bunch of computers networked together. Also, you can build customer answering software and machines to leave voice messages. You, would have to hire programmers or program it your self to do this. You then have to setup some way to direct the calls to each station. There are call centers that are mostly computer based due to the fact that you do not have to pay a computer a hourly or yearly salary. I would invest mostly with the computer setup and then find programmers and take bids to get the lowest and a system to most of the work so you won't have to upgrade it frequently and also so you don't have to hire as many employees......thats the most I can think of to get you started from a tech. aspect.

The best one right now from my experience is voipfibre. I have used voipdiscount, actionvoip, skype, but nothing provides per second billing and cheapest rates to india. Call for 30 secs and pay for only 30 secs. frikkn amazing. Go with this one

First you need people who can barely speak english. That is a must! And they only have to be half knowledgable of the computer. That is how other companies do it. Oh, don't forget asking for a credit card up front!
