Internet Help! Download problems.?
Okay I took a speakeasy speed test and it was

download : .53 Mbps
upload: .10 Mpbs

The download speed is so slow. I don't mind upload because I don't upload many things. I called Time Warner and all they can do is reset my modem which is useless because it didn't solve this problem. Is it because the modem I use is old? I've had the same modem for about 8 years.

What should I Do? upgrade for new package? or call them to come to my house to fix it? or... what?

or is it because of my router? because the router is 8 years old too.

That would depend on what your internet package speed is suppose to be which you didn't give details about. If you only have 500kbps plan, you will need a better package.

EDIT: And do NOT listen to some dipshit that tells you to upgrade your modem or router!!! Any modem or router years old is more than capable of doing the job. You most likely have their 500kbps plan if you got the cheapest.

Uuuuhhhhh, are U *REALLY* asking the whole world this question and admitting You haven't upgraded the hardware in *8* years!?. YES, get a new modem ... and You *should* actually care about upload speeds because any time computers are connected they both send AND receive information about 98 percent of the time. All computers send verifications and routing receipts for info sent to or from them.
