SOmetimes they hold corporate contest where the prizes are in money. So if you're good you can make money over the internet. You can also use e-commerce to make money, but that is a long story.

There are alot of sites that offer paid surveys for free. I earn about 20 to 30 bucks a month. It's not alot but it is still extra money.
