My explorer page, and many yahoo programs are freezing up (locking) recently. What can I do?

Problem started with yahoo games (pool) freezing up.

You don't say what your OS is or your memory. It sounds like it could be a memory problem. If you have XP with 256 of ram, it will cause this to happen pretty fast. XP really shouldn't even be sold with less than 512.



Try running DISK CLEANUP, then DEFRAG (under system tools).. remember that the icons on the RIGHT hand side of your computer screen are using RAM so don't have stuff running there unless you really need them, (like AV).

go to start and if you look at it theres a thing called RUN click on that then type cookies in to it and highlight everything that pops up NOT INDEX then delete it all then once you did that delete your trash that should help

It could be you are low on ram memory and its probably some form of spyware or adware or some form of worm or trojan ......if you have spyware or such programs.....run them to check this out......
