The download speed expressed in utorrent is probably kilobytes per second and you internet connection is 192 kilobits per second. One kilobyte equals about 10 kilobytes. That isn't exact, but it is close enough. If you have speed limits set in utorrent, you can change that to get a little more speed. The problem is if utorrent uses all of your bandwidth, you can not surf the net while it is running.

If your internet connection is only 192 kilobits per second, it might be time to look for faster service. In most areas, there are several companies providing service. You might be able to find faster service for about the same price if you shop around.

JJR please dont answer questions if you dont know what you are talking about. Your CPU has nothing to do with your download speed.

Overall it sounds like you have a really slow download speed and are you going through a router? Need more information to help you out.

The download speed always changes for me when downloading torrents. I believe it depends on the CPU usage of other programs, and how many other persons are dowloading the file aswell.

It's a community based speed. If the other person uploads 10kbps to you, you download 10kbps.
