hey all i have tried every program out there and have tried going in internet tools to clean up my search engine searches.
They will not erase no matter what i do. I still have things on there that i have searched from 1 year ago. Does anyone know of a way to clean this up to get rid of this long drop down list that comes out everytime i try to search for something new ? Is there a good trial program that i can download and use if not if so could you please let me know on the title of this program ?
And point gamers i will report so please dont waste my points by just sitting here posting an answer that has nothing to do with my question.
To those that do bother to help, thank you and happy holidays ...

Go

tools>internet options >content>

Click on "auto complete"

A popup window opens, here unclick all boxes, Click on the two buttons which say "Clear all saved passwords" and "Clear all saved forms" and click ok wherever required.

If this ain't working, Get this free software called Ccleaner. It is a very popular free software that SECURELY DELETES your internet usage history , autocomplete information, cache accoring to Deptt of Defence Specifications.

It has been downloaded more than 40 million times and is free. I use it,and it has never failed me.

Sometimes the common reason for this would be an incorrect reference. check your temporary folder reference in "Tools->Internet options", click on "Settings" in temporary internet files, and use "Move folder" to move it.

If this does not solve your problem, the easy temporary way to clear it is by opening history, right click each site stored and click "Delete". this should solve your problem.
