happy,

it is a SCAM.

it only LOOKS like it came from ebay.

it is a PHISHING email. they are hoping you will click a link and give away your info!

NEVER, EVER click any link in any email. and NEVER reply to them either!

if that email came to your ebay email, report it.

if it came to your regular email addy, then forward it with headers to spoof@ebay.com

thousands of ebay users get this email every day.

you may get them from PAYPAL too. forward those to spoof@paypal.com

Ebay will never ask you for your username or password. Also be sure the mail is coming directly from ebay.com not mail.ebay.com or ww1.ebay.com. Don't even click on it, just go to ebay's support section under spoof emails.

Yes, scam written all over it.

Give them a fake username and password to teach them a lesson. I wish everyone did that, that way they would stop sending those stupid emails.

ebay or any other online service that is respectable, will never ask for your username or password. Report it to the ebay.com fraud/scam department.
