Why can't I find my craigslist ad?

Question

I couple hours ago, I published an ad in the personals section of craigslist. I received a link in my email that I had to click in order to complete the publishing. I clicked it, and clicked publish, and voila: "This posting has been published. Your posting can be seen at [web address]."


When I click the web address from this page, I CAN see my posting.

However, when I just search for it regularly or even click on "all personals" I can't find my ad.

I heard that it takes up to 20 minutes for an ad to be seen, and it has definitely been over 20 minutes. I'm also pretty sure I didn't break any rules, so I'm not sure why I can't find it just by regularly looking for it. I even copied and pasted y exact title into the search box and it still didn't come up.

What's going on? And if I can't see it, does this mean other people can't see it either? I don't want to post again because then I'm pretty sure it will get removed for double posting the same thing. It has been hours since I published it.

I'm so confused. Please help~~

The exact same thing happened to me when I posted two ads to sell two cars. Both ads didn't show up when I searched for them but apparently, other people CAN see them because I was emailed & called by a bunch of people & the cars were sold within 2 days.

It is because for some silly reason cl's system is blocking your ad from going live. At first it seems like the post

is going live. Only after waiting an hour or 2 do you finally realize its flagged. If you having this issue you should really try www.flagproofer.org it will get your posts live even if cl's system is blocking you or not. Its a win win everytime. By for now

I'm having the same trouble. I believe that craigslist somehow knows that you're the original poster of the ad and doesn't show it when you search. I hope that's the case, at least.

Yeah I just used another device to see my ad.it won't let you view you post from original device you used to post information
