When i go to download something off my Internet i have to find the file myslef?

When ever i go to download something off my internet i have to look for the file myslef witch i can't always find the file and my computer did before find it for me but now i have to find it myslef i'm not sure why its a pain for me. How do i make it so my computer finds the file for me like it did before? My internet provider is internet expolor and i use yahoo and my window is windows 98.

right click the desktop click on new then click on folder that will go on your desktop now when you download a file have it download to that folder now if that dont work and you cant find the file you download well ..you can use a tool you have laying around the house. The tool you need is a hammer. Just pull out the tower into the center of the room and start beating it to an inch of its life. After it says i give show me mercy then you can restart it and everything should be back to normal.
