If running "iexplore" as suggested in the previous post does not work, it would be worth a try to re-install Internet Explorer. Go to the Microsoft Internet Explorer site to download it. (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx)

Sounds like your Comcast account is temporarily disabled, most likely from an unpaid bill. Call Comcast and check with them. After the account is turned back on, you will be returned to your normal Home Page.

You may be trying to open a link that uses the explorer icon. Try clicking start, run and typing "iexplore" (without the quotes) in the open line, then click OK....does IE then run?

It's either a Spyware, or a desperate claim from your computer to switch to a better Internet provider. Good Luck on your decision.

probably a corrupted file, i had a similar problem but i went to microsoft website and downloaded another one, if you do it you'll probably have to download some other software that will aunthenticate your microsoft on your computer, u shouldn't worry about it though, it will prompt u to download it if it is required

Its known to have a conflict many times with browsers, where the browser just get stuck on this page.

i think there's only way: to consult on Comcast.net
