my internet explorer will not open?

my internet explorer will not open,when i double click it will just flash on the screen and disappear.so it will not let me reach internet all.please i need help.

try opening Internet Explorer from the menu.

1/ Start

2/ All Programs

3/ Right click on Internet Explorer and choose "Create Shortcut"

see if this works, this will put a fresh Icon on your desktop screen for you so that you can start Internet Explorer from here by double clicking the mouse.

Go to add/remove programs in control panel, choose to remove Windows Internet Explorer, you'll get an option to repair.

Try to reinstal it.It may be corrupted if it doesn't open.
