What does Microsoft get from club bing?

In other words, how do they profit or anything from it? I don't see how a company can afford to just have this website that just gives away stuff without any currency in return.

and they get the money by people advertising from those sites.

You see those spots at the top of the search engine's search, they cost money to get priority up there.



Since it is at the top, more people would be likely to click on it.
