It's currently listed that IE versions 8 to 10 should work fine on Windows 7.



For lower IE versions, you may want to research further or experiment on doing the following:



a) Build your own emulator software to run lower versions;

In the first release of Win7 there was IE8, now in WIN7 service pack 1 there is IE9. But better use Firefox, Chrome or Opera, they have a lot of useful features, that IE doesn't have.
