download a tool called wireshark and save the outputs and send it to your isp (most ISPs use this to track down packet loss problems). You need to run it at the time you are having problems so the issue can be captured in the results file. If you have a problem it WILL help. Note - There is no point asking others about net speed unless they live near you as we are not all on the same exchanges and even in the same exchange there are different in/outbound data lines. Hope this helps

Go to www.speedtest.net (copy and paste the link to a new browser) and you'll get a good idea of your internet speed (stop all internet programs beforehand).

If the download speed looks OK you should try cleaning up your PC with ccleaner (just google for it).

There are lots of other things that could be slowing you down, including antivirus and firewall and other programs that are running.

I don't know anything about some of your terms, but here, today, I am having a SURGE of speed to my ISP. For two weeks it has been at 49, ??? but today it is at 50,600 !!! Clearly, I have dial up.
