On my laptop at work it is connected so that every week my history is sent to the server. I like to bring it home for personal use. If I connect it to my house router and use it and then I delete the history will it show up on the severs history. Is there any way to delete everything that you have looked at?
Thanks alot. Please help!!!!

CCleaner is definitely a good tool to use. Just deleting your browser history, cookies and temp internet files is not enough because that data is not actually deleted, just moved to another section of the hard drive waiting to be eventually overwritten. So it can reside on it until who knows when. CCleaner doesn't delete data it overwrites it on demand. It even has an option to specify how many times to overwrite the data, the more the better.

Howdy,

I'm sorry to say this but that info is most likely being kept in an encrypted log that will log all internet connections. As this is a work computer your employer has the right to do this. Removing any monitoring software they have installed could cause you problems. Once again sorry!

No, because you are connected to your LAN (local area network), no data is sent to your company's server. To remove all traces, use CCleaner. This can be downloaded here:
