I have a problem with a client's computer and am hoping someone can help me. We use windows sharepoint in our office and a client cannot connect to the site. No other client's have this problem but something is different on this client than in others. Their default search engine is set to Quick! web search and I cannot find a way to change it back or uninstall this setting. I have tried resetting ie settings and searching for the file and can find nothing. Please help if anyone knows how to fix this. Thanks!

I find that using a program called a tea timer usually help with this kind of problem, a tea timer watches your internet configuration and allerts you if there is a request for a change, this may help for future attack's.

use windows step back/restore to go back to a time before this happened, this should solve the problems

Get Spybot Scan your system for malware, then get Ad-aware Personal, scan your system then get hijack this scan your system, go to the config file and set start page to what ever you want ((e.g www.google.com)) then run a AV scan on your computer and that should detect the malicious software.
