Go to Tools --> Email Accounts ---> View or Change Existing Email Accounts --->

Select the accoutn you are having problems with and click the "Change" button.

Then Click "More Settings" button.

Select the "Connection" tab.

Change it to work with modem dial up :)

good luck!

It sounds as though you are trying to use your office mail server to send mail from your personal account or the other way around. The relay error you are getting is a spam-prevention feature of mail servers. It prevents spam by only allowing people in its own domain (e.g. @yourcomany.com) to send mail through it.

Instead of configuring multiple accounts in Outlook, it would probably be easier to configure a completely separate program such as Outlook Express for your personal email.

First you need to establish if you have internet connection when connected to the LAN at work.

Second Internet Explorer ----tools ----internet options---make sure this is selected 'only dial whenever a network connection is not present' and not 'always dial my default conenction'

Outlook exhibit is really very pleasant and human beings like to apply it as its really common to apply. in regards to the server settings , the SMTP server is ur isp provider putting and the POP is the mail putting. yet you cant use yahoo in ur outlook exhibit as yahoo is a paid server. in undemanding words gmail and warm mail debts will be activated as they're freed from fee.

Sounds like your office server is not allowing you to send smtp requests through your ISP.

You need to check with your IT admin for permissions and restrictions.

Kind regards
