Yes you can delete Internet Explorer ( just not through "add/remove programs") how are you on the internet now? if your on your computer go to microsoft.com and download Internet Explorer and then install it...if your on some other computer download internet explorer to a memory stick or a cd and then take it to your computer and install it.

This was probably for the best, Internet Explorer is terrible.

On a different computer, download the .exe file of your web browser of choice, save it to a flash drive and run the file on the netbook.

You can't delete Internet Explorer. It's part of Explorer.exe and if that wasn't there your Windows bar would be gone.

On a separate computer download firefox portable on a USB drive then continue from there

Internet Explorer is a component of windows operating system.

The default version should be there unless forcefully deleted.

You can download Internet Explorer from the link below provided your OS is genuine.
